Development Stage
Nova is walking everywhere! She’s lost interest in crawling and is getting quicker on her feet every day! Mom can hardly keep up.
Lil Mayhem is also opening and closing any drawer, cabinet, trash can, and container she can reach. It scares the hell out of mom and I try to save her little fingers from being squished every day.
She loves to rearrange rooms. She’s constantly scooting the dining room chairs around the kitchen and taking things out of boxes and putting them in new ones. She also loves rearranging stacking toys.
She waves hello and goodbye, knocks on doors, and points to items she’s interested in. She also reaches her arms up high when she wants to be picked up and can make choices between items she likes. She can stick straws in drinks and is learning how to use a spoon independently.
Nova imitates sounds and actions. She also says a few words like mama, dad, ampa, baba, hi, bye, and her favorite “tank”. All dogs (and other pets) are “tank”.
